Seventh grade student Neil Baidan was awarded a Silver Key for his flash fiction piece, “Dust,” which came out of George Jackson’s WriteOn Fall 2016 workshop. Only 7-10% of submissions to the regional awards are recognized with a Silver Key. Neil was recognized at a ceremony held at The New School’s University Center. One of his instructors, WriteOn Fellow Krisanne Madaus, attended this auspicious occasion. Congratulations Neil!
